Open-Plan Kitchen Diner Installation in Low Fell, Gateshead
This project involved transforming an existing, separated kitchen and dining room into a modern open-plan kitchen diner in Low Fell, Gateshead. By removing the dividing wall, we were able to create a bright, spacious layout that works perfectly for both everyday living and entertaining.
The new kitchen features elegant cashmere slab doors, paired with grey quartz worktops to create a clean, contemporary finish. A large central island provides additional storage, workspace, and seating, making it a practical focal point of the room. Integrated appliances help maintain a streamlined look, while subtle under-unit lighting adds warmth and highlights the cabinetry.
To complement the kitchen units, we installed large-format floor tiles throughout the space, helping to visually connect the kitchen and dining areas and enhance the open-plan feel. A designer vertical radiator adds both style and functionality, while the hexagon tile splashback introduces texture and visual interest behind the cooking area.
The result is a modern, open-plan kitchen diner that maximises space, light, and usability, tailored to suit the client’s home in Low Fell. This project is a great example of how thoughtful layout changes and high-quality finishes can completely transform a kitchen and dining space.
