Modern En-Suite Bathroom Installation in Hadrian Park, Wallsend

At Inspired Installations, we recently completed this stylish en-suite bathroom installation in Hadrian Park, Wallsend, as part of a larger project involving three bathrooms within the same property.

The aim was to create a modern, practical en-suite with a distinctive finish, combining warm natural wood tones, contemporary gunmetal fittings and subtle feature lighting. The completed bathroom brings together a carefully coordinated selection of materials, creating a stylish space without compromising on everyday functionality.

A Contemporary En-Suite with an Oak Acoustic Feature Wall

One of the standout features of this bathroom renovation is the oak-effect acoustic slatted panel feature wall behind the vanity unit.

The vertical slatted design introduces warmth and texture, providing an attractive contrast against the cooler tones of the surrounding wall finishes. This creates a focal point within the en-suite and gives the room a more individual appearance than a conventional fully tiled bathroom.

An illuminated oval mirror has been positioned centrally against the feature wall, creating soft backlighting that highlights the vertical oak-effect panels.

Additional discreet LED lighting around the ceiling perimeter complements the mirror and helps give the compact bathroom a bright, contemporary finish.

Large-Format Tile-Effect Bathroom Cladding

For the walls, we installed large-format tile-effect bathroom cladding in a subtle neutral grey finish.

The panels provide the appearance of contemporary wall tiles while offering a practical, easy-to-maintain surface. Their understated texture complements the oak feature wall without overwhelming the relatively compact room.

The consistent wall finish continues into the shower area, helping to create a coordinated appearance throughout the en-suite.

Gunmetal Fittings and Modern Bathroom Furniture

Gunmetal fittings were selected to complement the darker furniture and provide a sophisticated alternative to traditional polished chrome.

The en-suite features a compact vanity basin with dark fitted storage underneath, together with a coordinating basin mixer tap.

A tall dark heated towel rail sits alongside the vanity unit, providing useful towel storage and heating while contributing to the contemporary colour scheme.

The toilet is positioned beneath the window, with a dark WC furniture unit concealing the cistern and creating a neat, streamlined finish.

Modern Shower Enclosure and Rainfall Shower

The shower area features a contemporary glass enclosure with dark framing and matching gunmetal-style fittings.

A rainfall shower head provides an overhead showering option, complemented by a separate handheld shower attachment for additional flexibility.

The light-coloured shower tray and neutral wall cladding help maintain a bright appearance, while the darker shower fittings tie the enclosure into the overall bathroom design.

Part of a Three-Bathroom Renovation in Hadrian Park

This en-suite was one of three bathrooms completed by Inspired Installations within the same property in Hadrian Park.

Each bathroom was approached with consideration for its individual layout and requirements, while maintaining a high standard of finish throughout the property.

This particular installation demonstrates how combining carefully selected materials, contrasting finishes and feature lighting can transform a relatively compact en-suite into a modern, inviting space.
