Heritage Bathroom Renovation in Heddon-on-the-Wall
This heritage bathroom renovation in Heddon-on-the-Wall was designed to celebrate traditional character while incorporating modern comfort and craftsmanship. The brief was to create a timeless bathroom that felt authentic to the property, without sacrificing practicality or quality.
The centrepiece of the space is a freestanding clawfoot bath, positioned beneath the window to maximise natural light and create a striking focal point. Dark grey subway wall tiles wrap the room, providing contrast against the white sanitaryware while maintaining a classic, period-appropriate look.
Decorative patterned floor tiles were chosen to add visual interest and reinforce the heritage style, while chrome fixtures and fittings bring a subtle contemporary finish. A walk-in shower and traditional radiator ensure the bathroom remains functional for modern living.
This completed bathroom in Heddon-on-the-Wall perfectly balances heritage design with modern usability, resulting in a refined, elegant space that will stand the test of time.
